In the digital era, digital innovation (DI) has become the first choice for many enterprises to create sustainable competitive advantage (SCA). How to effectively realize DI has become the focus of enterprises. Since ambidextrous learning (AL) provides two paths of knowledge acquisition, it can provide sufficient knowledge for corporate DI. However, this is not an easy task for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) given the dilemma of relatively scarce resources. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate whether AL can be a driving force for SMEs to build a SCA in the digital era. Meanwhile, this study intends to analyze the roles of DI and digital culture (DC) in the above relationship. Research data were obtained from leaders of 289 knowledge‐intensive SMEs in Nanjing, China. Through theoretical analysis and empirical testing, this study has obtained some findings. First, AL can be more effective in enhancing SMEs' SCA than exploratory or exploitative learning. Second, DI mediates the relationship between AL and SCA. Finally, DC can reinforce the mediating role of DI between AL and SCA. These findings reveal the influence mechanism between AL and SMEs' SCA in the digital era. In addition, this study helps us better understand how DI and DC operate within the above mechanism. Meanwhile, this study provides decision support for SMEs to establish SCAs in the digital era.

Innovation is the first driving force to lead development, how to improve manufacturing innovation performance has become a hot topic. Based on 47 listed companies in the computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry in the A-share market, this paper adopted the Fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to explore the influencing factors of technology, organization and environment on the innovation performance of manufacturing industry and the improvement path. The findings are as follows: (1) A single condition is not a necessary condition for high innovation performance in manufacturing industry, but government support plays a key role in improving innovation performance in manufacturing industry. (2) There are two improvement paths for high innovation performance in manufacturing industry, which are specifically explained as “technology-environment dual improvement path” and “technology-organization-environment collaborative improvement path”. (3) The improvement of innovation performance in the manufacturing industry is the result of multiple factors, showing the characteristics of “all paths lead to the same destination”. Different manufacturing enterprises have different paths to improve innovation performance based on their actual conditions. Based on these findings, this study may provide some implications for the effective improvement of manufacturing innovation performance.

The financial performance of enterprises has always been the key to their survival and development, especially for high-tech enterprises. Evaluating the financial performance of high-tech enterprises is beneficial for the management department to accurately understand the financial situation of the enterprise, timely identify financial problems, and study solutions based on this; On the other hand, the scientific evaluation of enterprise performance also provides useful assistance for other stakeholders such as the government, creditors, and enterprise employees to exercise their rights. With the development of the times and the progress of society, high-tech enterprises have developed rapidly. Studying the financial performance of high-tech enterprises has important theoretical and practical significance. The financial performance evaluation of high-tech enterprises is a classical MAGDM problems. Recently, the TODIM (TODIM) and (grey relational analysis) GRA technique has been employed to cope with MAGDM issues. The interval neutrosophic sets (INSs) are employed as a tool for characterizing uncertain information during the financial performance evaluation of high-tech enterprises. In this manuscript, the interval neutrosophic number TODIM-GRA (INN-TODIM-GRA) technique is implemented to solve the MAGDM under INSs. In the end, a numerical case study for financial performance evaluation of high-tech enterprises is employed to validate the proposed technique.
