“…Not all levels in the energy range 106 000-109 000 cm À1 are presented here because of several reasons. Raw data were obtained for b (9) and o (1) in 14 N 2 , but the strong mutual perturbation [11] requires further analysis before the lines can be assigned unambiguously and the predissociation behaviour presented. Also the c 3 (1) level in 15 N 2 has local interactions but in this case with a triplet state [3] and here only a value of the lifetime is given, while a detailed analysis of the perturbations will be presented elsewhere.…”

“…Yoshino et a1 [675] have extended the known spectrum of the 7-0, 12-0, and 15-0 bands and also revised prior analysis of the 9-0 band. For these bands, rotational quantum assignments for J<7 differ from those given earlier by Carroll and Collins [130].…”

“…Yoshino et a1. [675] have made a rotational analysis of several Rydberg transitions having as upper levels, vibrational levels of 03 and 041IIu, the two lowest members of the Worley third Rydberg series. l\1easure-ments were made in second order of a 6.65 m vacuum spectrograph, with a He continuum as background source.…”

“…In addition, a rotational analysis by Yoshino et al 19 of the single photon absorption data for the 0 3^ + X 1 tt transition indicates much stronger mixing at the R-branch bandhead of the v'=l band due to a perturbation by the b 1 JI U , v'=12 level. One would expect these perturbations to strongly affect the vibrational branching ratios following multiphoton ionization.…”
