“…98 In addition, Sr2Ga2O5 has been synthesized under 1.5 GPa of pressure, but this material does not form a brownmillerite structure. 99 There is one report on the crystal structure of Ca2Fe0.5Ga1.5O5, synthesized using standard solid-state synthesis method. 98 However, that study only reports the crystal structure using X-ray diffraction, and no other information regarding properties of Ca2Fe0.5Ga1.5O5 has been reported.…”

Single‐crystals of Sr2Ga2O5 (I) and Sr5Ga6O14 (II) are prepared by reaction of a 2:1 molar mixture of SrCO3 and Ga2O3 in air (Pt crucible, 1100 °C, 1 d) and subsequent hot‐press annealing (piston‐cylinder apparatus, 1.5 GPa/3.0 GPa, 1000 °C, 72 h).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
