High‐Power Distributed Photodetectors for RF Photonic Applications

Abstract: Photodetector linearity is of paramount importance in external intensity modulated direct detection (IMDD) analogue fibre-optic links. This realization has created a demand for high bandwidth, high saturation current photodetectors.
