Abstract:Rapid widespread vehicle electrification has incentivized fast chargers to improve their performances. In this paper, an integrated-magnetic based differential mode Ĉuk rectifier (IM-DMCR) as a universal battery supercharger (UBS) is introduced. The design challenges associated with high power operation of IM-DMCR is outlined and optimized solutions are presented. A SiCbased full-scale 60-kW experimental prototype for the IM-DMCR is built and tested to verify the design.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
