Abstract:The Spatial Multiplexing of Local Element (SMILE) technique is a simplified array architecture which uses one RF channel to carry information from multiple RF channels by using multiplexing. Existing SMILE approaches with ordinary multiplexers offer similar performance to a regular array in an interference limited scenario. The performance degrades in a receiver noise limited environment as less signal power is captured. A distinct pulse compression technique based on switched resonator concept is introduced h… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
