High-performance quasi-solid-state flexible supercapacitors based on a flower-like NiCo metal–organic framework

Abstract: The flower-like NiCo MOF prepared by a hydrothermal has a specific capacitance of 927.1 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 and a capacitance retention of 69.7% from 1 A g−1 to 10 A g−1, showing excellent electrochemical performance.

“…The similar XRD spectra of NiCo MOFs confirm that the addition of different ligands altered the morphology and not caused much change in crystallinity. The sharp and clear peaks at 2θ = 9.3 and 12.9° for all the NiCo MOF correspond to the (100) and (010) crystal planes for Ni-MOF and Co-MOF, respectively, demonstrating excellent crystallinity. , Additional peaks observed for NiCo MOF_BDC at 15.7, 18.3, and 23.9° correspond to the (10-1), (200), and (020) crystal planes of Ni-MOF, respectively . Also, the peaks at 12.9° (010) and 25.6° (110) indicate d -spacings of 0.68 and 0.34 nm, respectively, suggesting a layered NiCo coordinated structure .…”
