High-Performance Magnetic-Powder-Filled Plastics Based on An Nd–Fe–B Alloy and a Powder Binder

Abstract

The creation of magnetic materials and products from them with a combination of necessary properties has come about through the development of advanced spheres of technology (computer engineering, electrical engineering, and electronics), medicine, transport, etc. [1, 2]. The main advantages of magnetic-powder-fi lled plastics (MPFPs) are the simplicity of their manufacture, their strength, the absence of brittleness, their low density, resistance to demagnetising fi elds, increased durability, and the possibility of controlling their magnetic and strength characteristics and their chemical and heat resistance by the choice of polymer base [3-5].
