Abstract: We propose a high-performance yet low-complexity hierarchical frequency synchronization scheme for orthogonal frequency-division multiple-access (OFDMA) aided distributed massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems, where multiple carrier frequency offsets (CFOs) have to be estimated in the uplink.
