High molecular weight hyaluronic acid drastically reduces chemotherapy-induced mucositis and apoptotic cell death

Abstract: Oral and intestinal mucositis (OIM) are debilitating inflammatory diseases initiated by oxidative stress, resulting in epithelial cell death and are frequently observed in cancer patients undergoing chemo-radiotherapy.
