High-k Polymer Nanocomposites for Energy Storage Applications

Abstract: High dielectric (high-k) polymer nanocomposites that can electrostatically store energy are widely used in electronics and electric power systems due to their high breakdown strengths (E b ), durability, and ability to configure in various shapes. However, these nanocomposites suffer from a limited working temperature regime, thus limiting their extreme applications, such as hybrid and electric vehicles, aerospace power electronics, and deep ground fuel exploration. Furthermore, the E b and the electric displa… Show more

“…Metal oxides are reported to possess a higher value of ε′ along with low normalε value [14]. The obtained result also substantiated that the dispersion of G‐ZnO in the polymeric system was uniform, without any aggregation, and thereby provided tunneling and lowered the dielectric strength of the as‐prepared polymer nanocomposite 48 …”

“…The obtained result also substantiated that the dispersion of G-ZnO in the polymeric system was uniform, without any aggregation, and thereby provided tunneling and lowered the dielectric strength of the as-prepared polymer nanocomposite. 48 Figure 8B graphically represents the dielectric loss ε 00 , resulting from the failure of polarization process of the dipoles, to go along with the varying electric field oscillations. This relaxation mechanism or relaxation time could be explained as the time required for the molecules to reorient themselves to their original position.…”

“…Undeniably, the developed standards and assessment indicators of language textbooks in research and practice have established general rules that appear to be applicable to assess the digital and paper textbooks, with some of them specific to other subjects and users depending on developers' research interests (Bouzid, 2017;Cai, 2021;Mahmood, 2011). Combining with viewpoints of Liu (2002) and Zhao (2005), Wang (2008) proposed six major categories to be the basic structure for assessment indicators of Chinese textbooks for children of other languages (COL): background, specificity, practicality, scientific-ness, engagingness, and systematic-ness.…”

“…Conventionally, titanate (TiO2), barium titanate (BaTiO3, BT) barium strontium titanate (BaSrTiO3, BST), lead zirconate titanate (PZT), magnesium oxide (MgO), barium zirconate titanate (BZT) ceramics and metal phenylphosphonates are commonly preferred due to their promising electrical properties [4]. Perovskite type ceramics (general stoichiometry of ABO3) show unique crystalline structures that leads to superior dielectric properties.…”
