High-Fuel Loading Ignition Delay Time Characterization of Hydrogen/Natural Gas/Ammonia at Gas Turbine-Relevant Conditions Inside a High-Pressure Shock Tube

Abstract: This study explores the combustion characterization of high-fuel percentage, air-diluted mixtures of H2 mixed with natural gas (NG) as well as mixtures of H2 and NH3 at temperatures and pressures relevant to turbine operating conditions (20–30 bar, 1000–1500 K).
