“…The ability to cold sinter multilayers with a tape cast formulation, using the binder polyalkylene carbonate (QPAC) was previously demonstrated; this then becomes the natural choice for this initial investigation into multilayer processing. [33][34][35] This is a very attractive candidate as it can be removed under a thermal decomposition process at temperatures as low as 120 °C in air and nitrogen atmospheres. Under the debinding decomposition process QPAC produces CO 2 and H 2 O that evolve within the particle mixture of BaTiO 3 and the transient phase.…”
