High efficiency multi-mode laser-diode-pumped cavity-dumped ytterbium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet laser

Abstract: Recently, ytterbium (Yb)-doped materials are believed to be the most promising materials because of its capability of laser diode (LD) pumping, high quantum efficiency, and wide gain spectrum.
