High efficiency and suppression harmonics oscillator using front coupled tapered CMRC

Abstract: This article presents a novel terminating network for microwave transistor oscillator.A front coupled tapered compact microstrip resonant cell (FCTCMRC) is inserted between the transistor and the input fundamental matching network as its terminating resonance. The fundamental frequency from the output can be connected in a positive feedback loop to the input port by tuning the dimensions of the proposed FCTCMRC.
