Light‐field three‐dimension (3D) displays have been the subject of much research. The compressive light field (CLF) through multilayer stacking is limited by the low transmittance of liquid crystals to the number of layers, and the integral imaging through the combination of two‐dimensional display panels and micro lenses array (MLA) is limited by the processing size of micro lenses to the resolution. Therefore, the integral CLF by combining multilayer liquid crystal display (LCD) and MLA is proposed. It combines the characteristics of high resolution of CLF and high brightness and large depth of field of integral imaging. Simulation results demonstrate the improved image quality due to the resolution enhancement of the integral CLF compared to conventional integral imaging.
