“…It helps to develop rigorous and transparent literature reviews that are useful and impactful (Paul et al, 2021). This is in line with recent research that employs the SPAR‐4‐SLR protocol (Das et al, 2022). In order to conduct a meta‐analysis, it is preferable to select a topic that is homogeneous in scope (Paul & Barari, 2022).…”

“…Hence, we suggest that studies be conducted on PSAs in non-health related domains like gun violence (in the United States) (e.g., Fridkin et al, 2021), female infanticide (in developing countries) (Fuse & Crenshaw, 2006), the necessity of educating girls (in developing countries) (P. Paul, 2019) and climate change (for the entire planet) (Fawzy et al, 2020). Additionally, if PSA research collects qualitative data as well quantitative, it may use emerging techniques like fsQCA (Das et al, 2022).…”

“…The findings illustrate that fsQCA has recently gained much more relevance and importance within the field, and in response to insufficient attention to configurations of consumer behaviors. Particularly in the areas of sustainability (Manosuthi et al, 2022), emerging technologies (Das et al, 2022; Kang & Shao, 2023), and niche‐specific behaviors (Sharma et al, 2022; Um et al, 2022), this review could inspire the use of fsQCA. Overall, this review advocates the importance of examining consumer behavior within a holistic context.…”

“…Based on the size and strength of the articles' citations and/or occurrences, a bibliometric review well complements other literature reviews (Gupta & Dhingra, 2022;Halder et al, 2021;Paul & Criado, 2020;Rawat et al, 2022) in showing a topic's origin, evolution, influence, and advancements at a macro level (Chakma et al, 2021). Following the SPAR-4-SLR protocol of , we conduct a comprehensive and conceptual (Rawat et al, 2022) hybrid review (Paul & Criado, 2020) by integrating bibliometric review and systematic literature review, as adopted by earlier business management researchers (Chakma et al, 2021;Das et al, 2022;Harju, 2022;Hungara & Nobre, 2021;Paul & Bhukya, 2021) (Figure 1). SPAR-4-SLR, which has been designed to conduct systematic literature reviews specifically (Paul et al, 2021, p. 6), provides a rationale, topical, consistent, transparent, and robust protocol (Harju, 2022;Khatri & Duggal, 2022;Lim et al, 2022;Rawat et al, 2022) to assemble, arrange, and assess vast literature in a systematic and exhaustive way (Gupta & Dhingra, 2022).…”
