Higgs boson masses in the complex NMSSM at one-loop level

Abstract: The Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Extension of the Standard Model (NMSSM) with a Higgs sector containing five neutral and two charged Higgs bosons allows for a rich phenomenology. In addition, the plethora of parameters provides many sources of CP violation. In contrast to the Minimal Supersymmetric Extension, CP violation in the Higgs sector is already possible at tree-level. For a reliable understanding and interpretation of the experimental results of the Higgs boson search, and for a proper distinction of… Show more

“…We first consider the scenario presented in section 4.1.1 of this reference, where CP-violation intervenes in the Higgs sector at tree-level via the phase ϕ κ . Again, a qualitatively close spectrum can be recovered with little alteration of the input proposed in the reference and our results are displayed in figure 8: while small differences appear, both the Higgs masses and the composition of the states agree reasonably well with those of [94]. The major source of deviation is associated to the use of different input -A κ in NMSSMCALC instead of A κ cos ϕ 2 in our case -, so that the comparison makes limited sense when ϕ 2 becomes large (i.e.…”

“…The renormalized self-energy matrixˆ hh at one-loop order is evaluated in NMSSMCALC [29,30] and NMSSM-FeynHiggs [31] by taking into account the full contributions from the NMSSM without flavour mixing and including momentum dependence (differences in the renormalization schemes are discussed below …”

“…For the NMSSM Higgs masses the leading one-loop (s)top and (s)bottom contributions have been computed in [22][23][24][25][26]. The full one-loop corrections in the DR scheme including all contributions of the NMSSM without flavour mixing have been given in [27,28], in a mixed DR/OS scheme in [29][30][31]. Two-loop corrections in the DR scheme of O(α s (α t + α b )) for zero external momentum were given in [27].…”
