Hierarchical Coordinate Structure Analysis for Japanese Statutory Sentences Using Neural Language Models

Abstract: We propose a method for analyzing the hierarchical coordinate structure of Japanese statutory sentences using neural language models (NLMs). Our method deterministically identifies hierarchical coordinate structures according to their rigorously defined descriptive rules.
