Hierarchical BIT: reusable BIT software for integrated systems

Abstract: T h i s p a p e r p r e s e n t s a hierarchical BIT implementation for i n t e g r a t e d advanced avionics systems to support multiple levels of integration and test. This hierarchical design allows BIT to be r e u s e d i n several t e s t environments including, module, subsystem, and system test.
