Hierarchical and reconfigurable optical/electrical interconnection network for high-performance computing

Abstract: Compared with electrical packet switches, optical switching technology could enable a more desirable high-performance computing (HPC) system with lower power consumption, lower delay, higher bandwidth, and more flexibility.
