Abstract:A straightforward strategy for the synthesis of pharmaceutically active 2‐aminobenzoxazoles and 2‐aminobenzothiazoles is described by using 2‐aminophenols, 2‐aminothiophenols, and functionalized phenylisothiocyanates as the model substrates.
