Hexokinase 2-driven glycolysis in pericytes activates their contractility leading to tumor blood vessel abnormalities

Abstract: Defective pericyte-endothelial cell interaction in tumors leads to a chaotic, poorly organized and dysfunctional vasculature. However, the underlying mechanism behind this is poorly studied.
