Abstract: Key indicators: single-crystal X-ray study; T = 140 K; mean (C-C) = 0.002 Å; Hatom completeness 89%; disorder in solvent or counterion; R factor = 0.035; wR factor = 0.098; data-to-parameter ratio = 23.4.The title compound, [Co(H 2 O) 6 ][H 3 NC 10 H 5 (SO 3 ) 2 ] 2 Á4H 2 O, is part of an isostructural family that includes the nickel(II) and zinc(II) analogues.
