The DME analogues, NdI 2 (DME) 3 (1 b) and DyI 2 (DME) 3 (2 b), were obtained when 1,2-dimethoxyethane was used as solvent. Both the THF and DME complexes of neodymium are violet, but the dysprosium derivatives are green.…”
