Hepatitis C pretreatment profile and gender differences: Cognition and disease severity effects

Abstract: BACKGROUND The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is known to infect the brain, however findings on associated neuropsychiatric syndrome are controversial and the association itself remains unclear.
