Hepatit B Yüzey Antijeni (HBsAg) Pozitif Hastalarda Hepatit A ve Hepatit E Virüsü Seropozitifliği

Abstract: Introduction: In this study, we aimed to determine the anti-HAV IgG and anti-HEV IgG seroprevalence in patients admitted to our clinic with Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) positivity. Material and Method: Data of 1827 patients followed up on for HBsAg positivity between 2010 and 2019 were obtained retrospectively. Results: The mean age of 1827 HBsAg positive patients was 42.71±14.84; there were 730 (39.96%) female patients and 1097 (60.04%)male. Of the 923 HBsAg positive patients whose anti-… Show more

“…(Table 2). Seventeen studies included all HBsAg‐positive patients without further describing patients' characteristics and reported decreasing (from Period 1 to Period 2, 7.0%–3.0%) and then increasing (from Period 2 to Period 3, to 4.7%) HDV prevalence 6,66–81 . Cumulative data of these three groups were taken to reveal HDV prevalence in HBV‐infected patients, and it showed decreasing (from Period 1 to Period 2) followed by increasing (from Period 2 to Period 3) HDV prevalence (Table 3 and Figure 2).…”
