Hepatic Choline Transport Is Inhibited During Fatty Acid–Induced Lipotoxicity and Obesity

Abstract: Choline is an essential nutrient and a critical component of the membrane phospholipid phosphatidylcholine (PC), the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, while also contributing to the methylation pathway.
