Hemşirelerin Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimlerinin Öz Etkililikle Olan İlişkisinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between nurses' lifelong learning tendencies and self-efficacy. Method: This descriptive study was conducted at the Health Research and Application Center of a university in the Eastern Anatolia Region between 20.04.2019-20.06.2019. The study was completed with 750 nurses working in the relevant center in the research population and 254 nurses in the sample. Personal information form, Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale and Self-Efficacy Scale were used to collect study data. Number, percentage, mean, t-test, one-way analysis of variance and Pearson correlation analysis were used in the analysis of the data. Results:The mean age of the nurses was 27.44±5.26. The mean score of the Nurses on the Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale was 92.59±17.12, and the mean score on the Self-Efficacy Scale was 77.12±13.59. A negative, weak and insignificant relationship was found between lifelong learning tendency and selfefficacy (r:-0.119 p:0.06). Conclusion: Nurses' lifelong learning tendencies and self-efficacy perceptions were moderate, and a weak, negative and insignificant relationship was found between lifelong learning tendencies and self-efficacy.
