Hemolysis Control in the Emergency Department by Interventional Blood Sampling

Abstract: The hemolysis rate in the emergency department (ED) is higher compared to that in other departments. We propose a new blood sampling technique without repeated venipuncture to reduce hemolysis and compare the hemolysis rate between blood collected by this method and that collected with an intravenous (IV) catheter.
