“…Dollfus (1958) DISCUSSION. The present material agrees well with material described by Joyeux and Baer (1936) and by Mahon (1958), although Mahon's material was probably in a greater state of relaxation than the present, as the diameter of the suckers in her material is considerably greater. Sandeman (19590:) has so far been unable to deal with the synonymy of this species, but is at present working on this.…”

“…The present species can be distinguished from the closely related forms thus: from G. marchali (Mola, 1907) (see also Joyeux & Baer, 1940;Mahon, 1958) in the size of the strobila, seolex and rostellum, number of rostellar hooks, number of testes and comparatively long cirrus pouch; from C. ricdi Fuhrmann & Baer (1943) in the size of the strobila and scolex, number and size of rostellar hooks, size of cirrus pouch, nature of the vagina and armature of the genital atrium; from C. perisorei Spasskaya (1957) in the size of the rostellar hooks though they are the same in number; from C. bhattacharai Chatterji (1954) in the size, shape and number of rostellar hooks and alternation of genital pores; from C. ululae Mahon (1954) mainly in the number and size of rostellar hooks; from C. cholodkovskyi Krotov (1954) and C. dogieli Krotov (1954) in the number and size of rostellar hooks and number of testes. Matevosyan (1954) has revised the family Dilepididae and created a new family Choanotaeniidae and made other changes in the systematic position of other genera.…”
