“…The study was developed in line with the underpinning principles of phenomenology (Moran, 2000;Kvale & Brinkmann, 2009;Schutz, 1967;Thompson, Locander, & Pollio, 1989). Exploratory research was conducted to gain insight into the co-creation of brand meaning, specifically to capture and understand the relationship between the employee, the brand, and the organization.…”

“…For example, glucocorticoids have been shown to promote apoptosis in lymphocytes (1,2), whereas human mammary epithelial cells (MECs) (3) and rat hepatoma epithelial cells (4) are protected from apoptosis after GR activation. Furthermore, studies in both breast and liver epithelial cells have demonstrated that RU486, a potent GR antagonist that inhibits GR-mediated transcriptional activation, reverses the survival effect of glucocorticoids (3,4). The antagonistic effects of RU486 on cell survival suggest that glucocorticoid-mediated survival is regulated specifically through GR-induced transactivation of downstream genes.…”

“…The second is one connected with the idea that the very givenness of perceptual things is pervaded by praxial meanings or possibilities; e.g., the cup is offered to our consciousness as being graspable, etc. This can be found in the work of thinkers drawing either directly from Heidegger's work or from ideas related with it (cf., e.g.,Moran 2000, to stay only within the circle of Husserl scholars). For a criticism of this a separate essay would be necessary.…”
