Hegemonic struggles and the role of contemporary ‘organic intellectuals’: A different perspective for the analysis of discourses

Abstract: The ‘populist moment’ and the growing number of non-liberal discourses indicate that we are in the presence of a counter-hegemonic phase against the established liberal order involving several sites of ideological production. However, the analysis of these counter-revolutions still focuses on agency, looking mainly at political parties or leaders.
