Heat transfer and film cooling measurements on aerodynamic geometries relevant for turbomachinery

Abstract: A measurement technique for recording convective heat transfer coefficient and adiabatic film cooling effectiveness in demanding environments with highly curved surfaces and limited optical access, such as turbomachinery, is presented.
