Heat-transfer analysis of flat steel ribbon-wound cryogenic high-pressure vessel

Abstract: In the past 40 years, more than 7000 layered vessels using flat ribbon-wound cylindrical shells have been manufactured in China. Theoretical as well as experimental investigations show that there are distinct economical and engineering advantages in using such vessels.
