Heat transfer analysis of ethylene glycol-based Casson nanofluid around a horizontal circular cylinder with MHD effect

Abstract: In this work, efforts were taken to investigate the free convection of ethylene glycol-based Casson nanofluid and it is affected by a magnetic field about a horizontal circular cylinder. Three different types of oxide nanoparticles were used along with constant wall temperature. Tiwari and Das's nanofluid model was used to investigate the MHD free convective flow of Casson nanofluid. The transformed governing PDEs were solved via the Keller box method. Numerical and graphical findings were acquired by using MA… Show more

“…After that, two important kinds of simulations models permanently applied to discuss the demeanors of nanofluid, such as single-phase model and two-phase model, which are conducted by Tiwari and Das [2] and Buongiorno [3], respectively. Swalmeh et al, [4][5][6][7][8] and Alwawi et al, [9][10][11][12] used the one phase model to study the convection boundary layer flow in nanofluid over solid sphere and horizontal circular cylinder. And many papers investigated the two phase model like Sheikholeslami et al, [13], Garoosi et al, [14], Rea et al, [15].…”

“…In the occurrence of nanomaterial, Arain et al [6] inspected the consequences of Carreau fluid flow in view of suspension of nano size particles along with boundary layer features. In addition, Alwawi et al [7] have examined the effects of Casson nanofluids in the boundary flux of magnetic fields and nanoparticles. Several scholars and engineers have carried out to investigated the influence of stagnation point nanomaterial flow subject to radiation effects with different geometries.…”
