Heat‐shock protein 70—a hub gene—underwent adaptive evolution involved in whitefly‐wild tomato interaction

Abstract: BACKGROUND The whitefly Bemisia tabaci causes severe damage to cultivated tomato plants, but actively avoids the wild tomato Solanum habrochaites.
