Abstract:Heat shock can disrupt the respiratory mucosal barrier, which further results in bacterial colonization and dissemination, subsequently leading to systemic endotoxemia. Acinetobacter baumannii is a conditional pathogenic bacterium in the respiratory tract and a common causative agent of bacterial pneumonia.
