Heat and mass transfer analysis of MHD stagnation point flow of carbon nanotubes with convective stretching disk and viscous dissipation

Abstract: The research of single and multi-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs/MWCNTs) mixed in sodium alginate-based nanofluid with MHD stagnation-point flow on a convective heated stretching disk with viscous dissipation and suction effects is being done with the intention of decoding the heat and mass transmission mechanism. It is possible to transform PDEs that govern the boundary layer into ODEs. MATLAB’s Bvp5c is used to numerically solve the revised equations. The Yamada-Ota model and the Buongiorno model are used in t… Show more

“…The transverse magnetic field Bfalse(xfalse)=B0x, which is replicated normal to the stretching/shrinking needle, is calculated using the applied magnetic field intensity B0. Based on the assumptions, the governing equation for system can be written as: (see 12,38 ) The following are the boundary conditions: 38 …”

“…Mixing minute solid particles with the base fluids can improve the thermal properties of a number of fluids. 11,12 Aggregates are a term used to describe the ways in which particles or molecules come together to create extended structures. Colloidal science and engineering place a large emphasis on the aggregation mechanism, which is a process that cannot be reversed.…”

“…The nanofluids are used practically in fuel engines, hybridpowered engines, refrigeration, and food processing. [7][8][9] Buongiorno 10 discusses the convection transport of nanofluids in detail, predicting a reasonable discussion for anomalous behavior of increasing thermal conduction and viscosity. He also concentrated on improving heat transfer in convective phenomena.…”

“…The problem of momentum and heat transmission near the stagnation point is both theoretical and practical. So, being able to control the rate at which heat is transmitted at the interface is quite useful [ [4] , [5] , [6] , [7] ].…”
