Abstract:Background
SERAC1 related MEGD(H)EL syndrome is a rare but regularly severely disabling and progressive inborn metabolic disease characterized by 3-methylglutaconic aciduria, dystonia and deafness, encephalopathy, (hepatopathy) and a Leigh syndrome-like presentation.
