“…Recently, synapsin as a pre-synaptic vesicle protein was detected by staining in hiPSC-derived mixed cultures that contain GABAergic, glutamatergic and dopaminergic neurons (Zagoura et al, 2017), however, neither synapse number nor protein expression were quantified.
