“…The reason for not having regular health checkups could be a lack of social support. Mirghafourvand et al (2014) found that health responsibility is positively associated with the amount of social support provided by spouses and family members. In line with this evidence, it can be recommended that older individuals should be supported to have regular health checkups.…”
