Health effects associated with waterpipe smoking

Abstract: ObjectiveIt is widely held that waterpipe smoking (WPS) is not associated with health hazards. However, several studies have documented the uptake of several toxicants and carcinogens during WPS that is strongly associated with harmful health effects.
