HCV Infection and Chronic Renal Disease

Abstract: Chronic Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is defined as persistence of HCV RNA in the blood for more than six months. HCV is a major cause of chronic liver disease and cirrhosis. It’s serious public health problem, affects about 71 million people worldwide. HCV doesn’t destroy hepatocytes directly.
