Hb D-Ouled Rabah, a slowly-moving B chain v a r i a n t , was f i r s t discovered i n 1972 i n Algerian people (1). This s h o r t communicat i o n r e p o r t s on the s t r u c t u r a l analysis o f t h e same v a r i a n t found f o r the f i r s t time i n a Chinese family.
