Hardware-in-the-loop simulations of a railway pantograph with a finite element periodic catenary model

Abstract: The pantograph-catenary dynamic interaction problem is addressed by Hardwarein-the-Loop (HIL) tests to simulate the dynamic interaction between a numerical model (the catenary) and a physical device (the pantograph).
