Abstract

Semi-exclusive measurements of high energy photons (E~&30 MeV) cross sections from the Xe + Au reaction at 44 MeV/nucleon are analyzed in the framework of the Boltzmann-Nordheim-Vlasov equation with an appropriate semiclassical p-production probability for the np -+n'p'p elementary process. A detailed analysis on the impact parameter dependence of the p-ray multiplicity and slope of the energy spectrum is also reported.PACS number(s): 25.70.z, 21.30.+y
