“…The lesions are mainly composed of a painful, vesiculo-erosive stomatitis, associated with a painless maculovesicular eruption on the backs and palms of the hands and on the soles of the feet. The disease may be associated with fever, anorexia, malaise, coryza, coughing, headache, sore throat, abdominal complaints, and rarely, with complaints of cervical adenopathy [1,2,5,8], hepatosplenomegaly [1,5,8], pain in the joints [7,8,12] and dysuria [6], Generally all symptoms have completely disappeared after about 10 days. Severe sequelae, such as myocarditis, meningo-encephalitis or paralysis are rarely noted [I, 2,4,5,8,12,13,18].…”
