Abstract:In this study, halochromic sensor-based poly (lactic acid) (PLA) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) film as real-time sensing is successfully fabricated. Bromocresol purple (BCP) dye concentrations were varied (0.01 and 0.03 wt%/vol) in halochromic PLA/PEG film that changed its color from yellow to purple at a basic environment. The efficacy of the film with more BCP loading toward basic sensing was significant, where the material showed distinct color change with rapid response time. The color changes were proven … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
