Studi ini berfokus meninjau secara filosofis Hukum Adat Tarangk Perspektif Thomas Aquinas khususnya dalam terang filsafat hukum. Hukum Adat Tarangk merupakan asas dalam sistem hidup masyarakat Dayak Tarangk di Kalimantan Barat karena hukum tersebut digunakan untuk mengatur serta menertibkan kehidupan sesama manusia. Kesejahteraan atau kebaikan hidup bersama (bonum commune), dalam pandangan Thomas Aquinas, menjadi arahan dalam mewujudkan cita-cita yang terkandung dalam Hukum Adat Tarangk. Metode yang dipakai dalam studi ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengkomparasikan pemikiran Thomas Aquinas berkaitan dengan realitas eksistensi Hukum Adat Tarangk. Tujuan studi memperkenalkan serta melestarikan eksistensi kearifan lokal hukum adat Tarangk yang kian dilupakan secara khusus masyarakat lokal Dayak Tarangk. Diskursus ini menemukan bahwa Hukum Adat Tarangk mengandung nilai totalitas dalam mewujudkan bonum commune sebagaimana termaktub dalam filsafat Hukum Thomas Aquinas. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan melalui keterlibatan dan partisipasi sesama dalam mentaati dan menjalankan Hukum Adat Tarangk dalam fenomena perceraian, pencurian, dan sejenis permasalahan sosial yang mengganggu kerukunan dan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Selain itu, Hukum Adat Tarangk juga dapat terlibat dalam tata aturan untuk mengendalikan perbuatan manusia secara khusus terhadap perkara-perkara yang kerap kali terjadi di dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Kabaruan yang penulis temukan (1) Hukum Adat Tarang sebagai sistem hidup bersama, (2) pertisipasi individu menjadi upaya yang mumpuni dalam mewujudkan sistem hidup bersama, (3) bonum commune tercapai apabila partisipasi itu dijalankan secara bersama-sama.

<em>Human rights are something that is essential and should not be limited only for reasons that refer to gender and social status, especially human rights for women in various aspects, especially the right to a career and self-actualization. Facts on the ground show that women also have the same competence as men in the aspects of public and professional roles. This study aims to analyze the aspects of women's rights and freedoms in carrying out their roles as career women, especially for women who are married and have dual roles. This study examines aspects of social roles and management of role conflicts that are experienced by women with the status of career women. Aspects of social roles are studied based on various theories of social development, studies of women's rights based on the concept of human rights and gender equality. The data in this study were sourced from the results of observations, interviews, and literature studies. The analysis technique used was an interactive model. The results of this study indicate that career women with dual roles have appropriate conflict management techniques, so that their roles have the same priority. This was also supported by the concept of gender equality which is starting to be accepted in society so that women can live a life with the dual roles they have, as well as the guarantee of human rights as human beings who have complete freedom</em>.

Violence against woman and children has reached public space, working institution and educational institution. Presidential Regulation No. 65 of 2020 on Ministry of Woman Empowerment and Child Protection was stipulated to optimize legal protection for children and woman in Indonesian law and reality through analysis of woman violence and children in Central Java. This article is based on sociolegal approach which focus in implementation of Presidential Regulation No. 65 of 2020 Ministry of Women Empowerment and Children Protection. Analysis is based on empirical data comparison about implementation of this regulation as well as quantitative (statistic) data as empirical result. This study is to identify problems with approaches such as statute approach, sample survey from multiple sources, ethnography observations, in-depth interviews, and case studies analysis. This research shows that Presidential Regulation No. 65 of 2020 as an effort to protect women and children against violence has not been optimum. This is due to limited access to legal aid/services, lack of legal knowledge, case/report collection. There remains high rate of crime against woman and children. According to the data of Commission for Child and Woman Protection, there are about 1.413 cases in 2019 and this number increase to 2.389 cases in 2020. Gender issues in development still show the gender gap, so efforts to optimize the protection of the law on the rights of women and children from various forms of violence and trafficking crimes are urgently needed.
